From Nothing, To Anything:

A Kundalini Yoga Workshop & Gong Bath
with Tera Sundri Biddle

Saturday, February 1st 1- 3 pm

You have goals, you have dreams, you have desires…
…but the whole “New Year, New You!” makes you want to vomit in your mouth a little…

That’s because it reeks of inauthenticity. It’s the societal mass marketing drive to sell to you, using your
inherently human insecurity and ego structure against you.

Interestingly enough, the more you buy into
it, the less secure you feel.
The more we fight to build an identity and put on layers of “new-ness,” the further we get from our
strength, power, and connection to our authentic self.

As Alanis might have said, “Isn’t it ironic?”

In this Kundalini Yoga workshop and Gong bath, you’ll experience a peeling back of layers, stories, and
identity structures you’ve been so sure you needed to fix. Perhaps there is no fixing required, but
instead an accepting of everything to then become anything.

You’ve been telling yourself stories of your value, capabilities, and belonging long enough.

Designed for the beginner and seasoned alike, there is no intellectualizing or prior yogic experience necessary to
attend.

This two hour workshop will be an experience of clarifying your mind, focusing your life-force
energy, and re-calibrating your intuitive intentions.

Bring an open mind, and a reusable mug if you wish to enjoy the refreshments provided. You may also
wish to have a journal and pen if jotting down inspiration is your thing.
(Check out these links for more about Kundalini Yoga or Tera Sundri.)
As a special gift to you following this holiday season,

Your investment: $45.20 ($40 plus HST) and includes a downloadable guided meditation provided at
the workshop.

Follow the Detour Workshop

For Movement Educators & Anatomy Enthusiasts

with guest teacher Cecily Milne

Saturday, May 23, 3-6pm

This 3-hour workshop with Cecily will introduce you to what students around the world have experienced
as a revolutionary approach to movement.
Together we’ll explore:
• The role of the nervous system and its role in a mobility-based practice
• The importance of proximal stability and how this concept applies to ALL movement practices – not just
yoga
• The blind spots we all have when it comes to building joint capacity and muscle activation, and how
these blind spots can be transformed into sources of new strength and potential
• Different methods for bringing robusticity into the practice—keeping our hamstrings strong even in
forward bends, our spines comfortable in backbends and our shoulders strong and resilient in inversions
When we move optimally, the benefits are felt not only in our yoga practice but in all of the things we do
on a daily basis. After this workshop, you’ll approach everything from arm balances to grocery carrying
with new awareness and appreciation for what our bodies are capable of.
